Patrick Yuran

Co-Artistic Director

Patrick began his professional career in the performing arts over twenty-five years ago and currently has more than fifty production credits to his name. Like most in this field he began as an actor with many professional opportunities including performing the role of the Prince in a national tour of Cinderella. From there he developed his skills in design – working as a costume designer, scenic designer, and production designer. He eventually found his way into stage management, box office, and producing. Having worked in almost every area of professional theatre, he decided it was time for graduate school. Upon completing an MFA in Directing he was fortunate to land a position at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC in the PDOT Program. Prior to leaving the Kennedy Center, he had the opportunity to work with Stephen Schwartz, Stephen Sondheim, and August Wilson on original projects and direct a production of FICTITIOUS written by Tom Hyndman on the Millennium Stage.

Some of Patrick’s credits include: Directing – THE DIVINERS, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, ANNIE, A CHORUS LINE, AND THE WORLD GOES ROUND, THE PAJAMA GAME, CRIMES OF THE HEART, THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO, GUYS AND DOLLS, TWELFTH NIGHT, MY FAIR LADY, THE GLASS MENAGERIE, PORTRAIT OF A MADONNA, 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, and WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?
